| The Gold Rush |

The year 1849 is famous for when thousands of trappers, farmers, sailors, lawyers, preachers, and people from nearly every other occupation became pilgrims and pioneers who rushed to California with hopes of "striking it rich". Gold is a highly prized gem, because of it's value or worth. It gives you security and life more abundant. In these last days there will be another Gold Rush, but this Gold Rush is of greater value and benefit. What kind of Gold Rush am I talking about? The Gold Rush the Scripture speaks of! Would you like to have life more abundant? Hurry, you can be in on it, while the getting is good. The Messiah said to the last church "Laodiceans". Who think they are rich and increased with goods and think they have need of nothing, but do not realize that they are wretched and miserable, and poor, and blind and naked. His counsel to the problem is this! "I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear." Revelation 3:18. "They think they have the treasure of knowledge, when they are hoarding that which is but wood and hay and stubble, not worth gaining, not worth keeping. Their self-esteem, their idea that a superficial knowledge of things constitutes education, makes them boastful and self-satisfied, when they are, as were the Pharisees, ignorant of the Scriptures and the power of (Elohim). "As veins of precious ore are hidden beneath the surface of the earth, so spiritual riches are concealed in the passage of Holy Writ, and it requires mental effort and prayerful attention to discover the hidden meaning of the word of (Elohim). Let every student who values the heavenly treasures put to the stretch his mental and spiritual powers, and sink the shaft deep into the mine of truth, that he may obtain the celestial gold, -- that wisdom which will make him wise unto salvation." Fundamentals of Christian Education p. 169, 170 Have you heard the expression "heart of gold"? Our characters must be refined through trials. Which can only be accomplished by obeying the TRUTH, as it is in Scripture. "The words of YAHUWAH are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth purified seven times." Ps 12:6 "I rejoice at Thy Word, as one that findeth great spoil." Psalm 119:162 Who would have guessed, it is a simple thing called "TRUTH". The Psalmist stated, "I love Thy commandments above GOLD; yea, above FINE GOLD." Ps 119:127 Elsewhere the Psalmist declared, "The law of YAHUWAH is perfect converting the soul: the testimonies of YAHUWAH are sure making wise the simple. The statutes of YAHUWAH are right rejoicing the heart: the commandments of YAHUWAH are pure, enlightening the eyes (got eyesalve? Rev 3:18). The fear of YAHUWAH is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of YAHUWAH are truth and righteous all together. More to be desired are they than GOLD, yea, than much FINE GOLD." Psalm 19:7-10 "Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as YAHU-WAH Thy Elohim commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people." Deut. 4:5, 6 "Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than FINE GOLD." Proverbs 3:14, 15 YAHUSHUA said, "If thou wilt enter eternal life, keep the command-ments." Matthew 19:7
THE RUSH FOR ETERNAL LIFE Paul quoted the Torah in Galations 3:12 saying that, "The man that doeth them shall live in them." "Ye shall therefore keep My statutes, and My judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them." Leviticus 18:5 see also Ezek. 20:11, 13 "Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Revelation 22:14 Rush to your Scriptures and make these awesome discoveries, of learning the statutes and applying them, which amplify and illustrate the principles of the ten commandments. Whats keeping you back from being a pioneer in the Scriptures and discovering these gems of truth. YAHUSHUA bade us, "Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me." John 5:39 The Holy Spirit saith, "Receive My instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice GOLD." Proverbs 8:10 "The law of Thy mouth is better unto Me than thousands of gold and silver." Psalm 119:72 "Many shall run to and fro (in the Scriptures), and knowledge shall be increased." Daniel 12:4 What's holding you back from being a pioneer and coming out and joining the search for Gold? Is it your job? Is it your church? Your chances of discovery are great! You could become rich unto eternal life.
